About Plzen

Plzen also called Pilsen in English and German, is a city in western Bohemia in the Czech Republic. About 90 kilometres west of Prague, it is the fourth most populous city in the Czech Republic. Two interesting Plzeň facts to amaze you about Plzen: it has the third biggest synagogue in the world and the highest tower in the Czech Republic which is on the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew. Of course, you have to visit the brewery.
